Indian Coffee House, a conventional name known to every individual is a restaurant chain in India which is run by a series of worker co-operative societies. With a strong establishment across India of approximately 400 coffee houses, this place has taken a new meaning with its standard yet distinguished offerings in cuisine and beverages. The first coffee house opened its heart in the city of Bombay in India in the year 1936.
The prestige of this coffee house has taken a high where one can spot people of a mix age group and classes sit and splurge on the food and relish it. Keeping this post centralised on the Indian Coffee House of Jaipur, the city hosts two coffee houses. Locations of the coffee houses speak of the much-known Mirza Ismail (MI) road and the other one is dwelled in the architectural marvel Jawahar Kala Kendra on the JLN Marg in the city.
I have paid a visit to both the locations of this coffee house innumerable times. Every weekend calls for a visit here, owing to the soothing breeze at the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) venue and the fresh and aromatic puff of air of the lip smacking food at the MI Road venue. The JKK venue is covered with utmost gorgeous climbers and surrounded by flora. The coffee house is a stop for all the artists and the musicians. It also hosts people of different work areas, businessmen, youth, families etc. Name it and the café is both young and old enough for people.
