Location of Garden

The lush green garden is a Palace garden and it is situated at an awe inspiring location. It is located six Kms away from the main city and lies on Jaipur-Agra highway. The beautiful location and amazing palace garden offer splendid view and surroundings to visitors. The name of the garden has derived from the name of the queen of maharaja for whom it was built. The queen Sisodia hailed from Suryavanshi Rajputs line, who ruled Mewar.

History of Garden

This royal garden was built in 1728 by Sawai Jaisingh II. It is said that Maharaja built this palace garden for his 2nd queen. He gifted this garden to his queen, a princess of udaipur to serve as a perfcet retreat place and peaceful heaven for her beloved queen. The palace was built away from the hustle bustle and noisy polluted place or away from court politics, so that Sisodia rani can enjoy a tranquil ambiance.
