Touted as the ‘Kumbh of Literature’, the greatest literary show on earth turns 10 this January. This year the world’s biggest literary conclave expects to host more than 300 speakers (including but not limited to authors, musicians, pop stars, dancers, and journalists) and more than 2500 delegates from all across the world. The best ever 10th Zee JLF will witness some of the big names from the literature, movie, and arts industry from across the globe discussing, debating, and celebrating the ideas to enrich the experience and creativity.

What is in store this year?
With an amazing line-up of speakers from across the world, this year’s Jaipur Literature Festival will celebrate the 70 years of Indian Independence. The six major themes of the festival include:
1. Freedom To Dream – India @ 70
2. Colonialism And The Legacy Of Raj
3. Translation And World Literature
4. Sanskrit
5. The Magna Carta
6. The Women And The Marginalised Voices

For the very first time in the history of Jaipur Literature Festival and perhaps India, the facsimiles of ‘The 1215 Magna Carta’ are coming all the way from British Library to Jaipur. The facsimiles will be displayed all across the festival hub – Hotel Diggi Palace.
