26th January is celebrated as the Indian Republic Day all across India. This year it has brought us a long weekend to relax as you can club it with the weekend by taking a Friday off. However, a relaxing weekend should never come in the way of participating in flag hoisting and the pleasure of seeing the beautiful tricolor fly free high up in the sky.
Being in Jaipur, here is what you can do to celebrate the Republic Day 2017, the 68th Republic Day of India.
1. Join the Rashtriya Riders for Flag Hoisting
Join the Rashtriya Riders for flag hoisting at Amar Jawan Jyoti, Jan Path, Jaipur.
Gather at the location by: 6 a.m.
Flag off time: 6:30 a.m. (sharp)
2. Join the ICSI family for Republic Day 2017 celebrations
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is celebrating the 68th Republic Day in Jaipur, which you all can join from 10 a.m. onwards. The program includes flag hoisting followed by National Anthem. An art exhibition ‘Kaarigiri’, poetry recitals and a quiz competition have also been organized by the members.
Time: 10 a.m. onwards
Venue: Jaipur Chapter, A-5/A, ICSI House, Institutional Area, Jhalana Doongri, Jaipur
